I'm putting together cell unroofing protocols based on a few papers. Unfortunately, there is no mention of whether it's ok for me to keep the KHMgE buffer in the fridge? AEBSF is usually stored at -20, and I'm not sure about how long I can keep the 1g/L stock solutions in DI water in the fridge; any information would be extremely welcome. Sulphonyl fluorides are unstable in water, you should make stock solutions only in aprotic solvents like i-propanol and dilute them immediately before use.
Please do not use DMSO, as this solvent can penetrate intact skin and take dissolved material with it. AEBSF is less toxic than PMSF, but still...

I'm trying to find the safest way to make the KHMgE that I will use to sonicate the cells... would diluting in water and adding it to the buffer immediately before titration and use work? I probably want to avoid keeping a stock solution anyway...
