I assume you are trying to add it in Abaqus/CAE. Elbow elements are not available in CAE, you need to add them directly in the input file. Please refer to 29.5.1 Pipes and pipebends with deforming cross-sections: elbow elements in the Abaqus Analysis User's Guide.

You can also find a working example in 1.1.2 Elastic-plastic collapse of a thin-walled elbow under in-plane bending and internal pressure in the Abaqus Example Problems Guide.
