Hi,

We are trying to isolate rat MSCs from Fischer F455 rats. So far we tried a femur flush protocol to flush the bone marrow into a petri dish. However, we are wondering if we should do positive selection by surface markers (coupled to biotinylated antibodies) in combination with magnetic beads. Does anyone have a protocol for that? I tried with different companies like stem cells technologies and BD Biosciences but they don't offer many products for rat.

Thank you
