As I understand it pHEMA forms a hydrogel and prevents cell adhesion. I'm trying to induce macrophage differentiation after obtaining myeloid progenitor colonies from CFC Assay.

The protocol I'm looking at calls for culture flask to be coated with pHEMA and the addition of macrophage differentiation medium and growth factors. I was wondering is there any other methods of achieving the same result?
