Long time i am working with epi info and shifted to SPSS.
Epi Info has been in existence for over 20 years and is currently available for Microsoft Windows. The program allows for electronic survey creation, data entry, and analysis.
SPSS is great for graphics but I find it too easy to use the menus to conduct analyses.
I believe Structural equation modeling (SEM) can link many constructs and explore the mediation and mediation roles in the relationship between constructs. SEM works in path analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, causal modeling with latent variables, and even analysis of variance and multiple linear regression.
The analysis is not based on SPSS as method, it is just a program with some facility to make the basic and advanced analysis of data when entered correctly. However, there are also other statistical packages used for data analysis such as STAT and SAT and JMP Statistical Tools.
Agree with Dr. Amen, it depends on the quality of the data itself and how it is entered and used. You can try R programming, many are shifting from Stata to R programming because it's free of charge. Now, it's most commonly used in US, even in European Universities we're encouraged to learn R programming.
Dr. Maha, could you give more idea about the R program and how is it affordable to graduate students in low resources income countries?

It's available for everyone, the download and installation of R program is free and students can follow the instructions in the online book.
When you think about Stata and SPSS software both of them are not free .So, I think R program is the best choice for students and graduates in low-income countries.

Again my question on to what extent this program is easy to practice and use?
How it much different from SPSS for example as we are addicts of the SPSS for a long time.
I never used SPSS so I cannot make a compare between it and R, I've used Stata and for me R is easier than stata. Anyway, when I started working on my thesis as I'm using DHS data for Yemen which was not supporting the formate of R, I had to stick to Stata. So, maybe the formate of data could be an issue when it comes to using R!
