In the last few years we observed progress role of UNICEF than WHO and decline role of WHO.
WHO is a leading agency in health, its mandate is more technical for MOH in all health Aspects. most of the technical guidelines and recommendations produce by WHO, however in emergency situations role of WHO change to be more implementing than only technical. UNICEF is implementming agency in specific aspects of health. Financial Resources and media are playing big role in the presence in the field and popularity among communiturs.

Areas of work of the Organization
The organization promotes medical research, proposes agreements on global health and monitors outbreaks of communicable diseases such as smallpox, plague and other serious pandemics, and provides health protection for mothers and children to raise mental and psychological health and raise awareness to protect drinking water from pollution. Participating countries share experiences and eliminate many chronic and deadly diseases. They also hold several training workshops aimed at developing health services.
