Kanglaite (KLT) is a type of Chinese herbal medicine. It comes from the seeds of a tropical Asian grass called Coix. It isn’t a treatment in the europe or USA but doctors in China have been using it to treat cancer since the mid 1990s.
I read the news of it's application for IND in US for clinical trial a decade ago, but never heard of the result of it. I did see a clinical trial safety data:
but haven't seen any efficiency data yet. In fact, in China, most of the herbs used in combination (not the extracted single component) to treat disease, and it's also kind of personalized, each patient with the same disease may have different herb regimens. And some patients there do see both kind of physicians, they get chemo from western-training physician, and get herb treatment from TCM doctors. It's tough to track it systematically.
Dear Gamal! This is a vegetable remedy effective in combination with chemotherapy (adjuvant therapy). Physicians should use the experience of generations, the more Chinese medicine (smart tradition thousands of years). Please, some papers at attachment/
