Some researchers have also used an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) to forecast blast-initiated ground vibration.
Seismographs, on the other hand, were employed to measure ground movement and air overpressure caused by blasting activities. A blasting seismograph detects the ground vibrations' Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) in inches per second and records the rise in air over pressure above ambient settings.
