Well, I don’t know about any cheaper alternative for Taqman master mix. However, my question is do you really need to use Taqman? Because Taqman is usually used when you have high homologue sequences of different genes or you need to know for sure your target gene. If you don’t have this kind of problem you can use SYBR green without any problem. The primers and the master mix are very cheaper compared to Taqman. Good luck.

You can shift to SybrGreen system, much cheaper, get rid of Taqman, that is the most expensive and we have to depend up on them
