Is there a way in Ansys Workbench ACP v18 to model a continuous ply with locally varying properties e.g. changing fiber content or changing material?

I am currently aiming to model a knitted fabric with changing consitution - locally different fibre material - and aiming to model it in ACP. Currently I define different oriented sections, however I get automatically drop off when using more than one ply.

You can use different shells and glue them together acting as one single shell, you can then define different fibre content or material propeties.
