The BMJ Open Diabetes Research and Care published a study this year entitled, "Closing the loop overnight at home setting: psychosocial impact for adolescents with type 1 diabetes and their parents." The objective of this study was to explore the experiences of adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) and their parents taking part in an overnight closed loop study at home, using qualitative and quantitative research methods. At study entry and again at the end of two interventions, each adolescent completed the Diabetes Technology Questionnaire (DTQ). This is a 30-item measure of the impact of, and satisfaction with, technological tools that may be used in the management of T1DM. (JDRF Continuous Glucose Monitoring Study Group. Validation of measures of satisfaction with and impact of continuous and conventional glucose monitoring. There are some good studies on patient satisfaction with insulin-pump therapy (csii) and with continuous glucose monitoring (cgm) done by the JDRF / JDRF-CGM study group (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Continuous Glucose Monitoring Study Group).
Searching PubMed for (treatment satisfaction OR patient reported outcomes) combined with (continuous glucose monitoring OR insulin pump therapy) will provide you with first clues and hints for further research.
