If you are working with epigenetic markers like Hystones modif, PolII, CTCF etc, you might have a look on ENCODE resources: there is a huge collection of ChIP-seq data from the most common hystones modifications from different cell lines and tissues (both human and mouse). These tracks (peaks and/or hotspots) can be visualized on the genome browser and you can design primers for genomic regions you are interested in.

Thanks very much for your response. I am aware of the procedure that you mentioned. However, what I wanted to know is if there is any database where the primers from these ChIP experiments are already available. I thought that since this is a fairly routine ChIP experiment (using Histones etc), I need not design the primers every time.

Maybe a bit lazy approach but still I don't mind to just copy the primer sequences from a database and get them synthesised. Any suggestions?
