I found success by treating with hexasol and 70% ethanol for two to tree mins and repeated subculture with same treatment. But If there is severe contamination you should discard it. Hope you will find success too.
1.If you have large number of explants, then go for culture discarding (Plate or tube), which is a standard tissue culture practice.
2.But, in other case in the plate some calli were contaminated, then try to rescue others (non contaminated) in separate hood, and then sterilize hood by UV or Ethanol.
3.Last case, if any how you want to rescue so important callus then you can try to wash with diluted fungicide (in case of fungal contamination), even may go for sodium hypochloride 0.5 % v/v in water for 30 seconds and then wash with autoclaved water for several (7-9) times. Obviously calli may go for decoloring or necrosis or unhealthy calli growth, but repeated subculturing for growth stimulation may necessary.
