You have to do in addition tests like caspase3/7activationd on fluoremtry so called DEVDase assay or do on WB or cleavge of PARP on WB.Negative results in these assays will confirm regulated necrosis (necroptosis).

DNA ladder formation is a characteristic for apoptotic cells. Necrotic cells don't show DNA laddering..!!

As Goodwin mentioned above, necrotic cells need not show DNA laddering

Thanks Dmitri, I tried caspase-3 but not WB. There were no activation of caspase-3.

Genomic DNA were shown in the gel electrophoresis, maybe the treatment doesn't cause DNA damage.
