Is it better to compare AUC or IC50 values against Protein Expression Data?

I'm using the proteomics data set from DepMap and I have the AUC and IC50 values for compounds from GDSC...what is the best method to compare? I used AUC and relative protein expression to calculate a pearson correlation coefficient. Is this correct?
