Hello I would try with a in silico blast protein protein sequence similarity between poercine and human protein. if it is low, I would go for other markers, with a Blast phase before trying ihc, the blast is not a wb, but highly suggestive of crossreactivity. You can choose a policlonal ab if the sequence similarity is good, but I don't know cut off values. Good luck
