Since the structure of cyclodextrin has a hydrophobic cavity and a hydrophilic surface (due to the hydroxy propyl groups) and the doxorubicin (hydrophilic) too has hydroxy as well as amine groups, I assume that the both would interact through hydrogen bonding. Basically, I want to attach doxorubicin molecule on the surface of the cyclodextrin (not cavity). Therefore, I request for suggestions regarding possible interactions as well as possible ratio of doxorubicin to cyclodextrin ratio to be used for optimum interaction. I have attached the structure of structure of both.
