I have close to 50 predictors in my regression analysis and I have no problem testing the linearity of the interval covariates but I am unsure if the plots I have produced for the interval ones may be acceptable for the ordinal covariates. Outcome is interval.

These are the three methods I have used to check linearity with the interval predictors: 1) Plots between Unstandardized Residuals and each of covariates, 2) Partial residual plots of the outcome variable and each of the covariates superimposing a Lowess curve, 3) A scatterplot of the Studentized Residuals by the regression Standardized predicted value.

Please could you please help which ones to use with the ordinal type or propose a diffirent method if any of the above are not applicable?
