I am a bachelor student preparing for my bachelor thesis. Currently, I am looking for a corpus or a dictionary containing medical abbreviations (preferly in german) to access and to include in machine learning classifiers. Are there any or should I build one myself?

There seems to be quite a bit of stuff out there. Maybe you can partly download the content.
Also, you might want to have a look for the work of Stefan Schulz from University of Graz. He, or some of his people of his team, were working on this topic as well. Maybe there is a resource mentioned in one of their relevant papers?
