I always use ethanol precipitation of DNA. You can use sodium acetate or another salt. Have you ever tried ?
The use of glycogen as a carrier is opcional. You can try both ways.
Take a look in Maniatis protocols (http://www.molecularcloning.com/). It's an excelent book.

Hi Saad,
usually Glycogen use for small RNA or very minute amount of DNA precipitation, the 1/100th Volume use for precipitation.i.g. 1 ul in your case along with 1/10 th volume 3M Sodium Acetate or 5M Ammonium Acetate any one i.g. 10 ul in your case and then added 2 times of Absolute ethanol i.g. 200 ul in your case, and allow some times about an hour to act it.
