The peak that is shown in the UV-Vis spectra at ~420 nm indicates the formation of silver nanoparticles. You can further study the characteristic features using other analytical techniques.
The peak what you have got indicates the synthesis of silver nanoparticles..U can further purify this nanoparticles and characterize them using EDX, XRD and TEM
Moreover, you have strong absorption in the UV region 600 nm, it could mean that your samples show some interesting morphology (different than spherical one).
Dear Maryam, UV-Vis spectra is only a preliminary result to indicate whether nanoparticles are synthesized or not, but then you have to proceed to confirmatory tests like TEM, DLS, and EDX which confirms the presence of the element of interest. for silver nanoparticles, you can scan from 300 - 600 nm.
Presence of AgNPs is indicated by the UV-Vis absorption maximum appearing in the range between 400-500 nm due to Surface plasmon resonance. But to confirm whether or not the Ag-nanoparticles were synthesised further tests like TEM, DLS needs to be done.
UV-Vis absorption peak around 435 nm indicates formation of AgNP with size around 80 nm. However, I think you should take the data with diluted sample as your sample's peak absorbance is around 2.
The UV-Vis results shows that you obtained AgNP. I suggest you, to purify better the nanoparticles and then perform other lecture, so that you get a better spectrum. Also you need to used other techniques as DLS, EDX or TEM to confirm the obtention of AgNP.
