Are you trying to isolate CAV from the animal (or egg) or propagate a CAV isolate you already have in the CEF cells? Here is a link for a short paper/protocol for in vitro propagation with a known inoculum. http://www.bvmj.bu.edu.eg/issues/24-2/11.pdf
There is also an older post from 2012 (How to isolate Chicken Anemia Virus (CAV) from chicken eggs?) on research gate that posted a protocol for isolation from eggs. There is also a couple references there for in vitro/in vivo protocols.
Thank you very much for your answer. I am trying to isolate the virus from organ emulsions, these were previously positive by PCR. Right now, I am also trying to grow the virus in cell culture aside from MSB1 cell line. Thank you for the reference I really appreciate it!
