I am culturing both macrophage and cancer cell together as spheroid. I want to use RPMI and DMEM media at 1:1 ratio. Is there any disadv of this?

I am culturing macrophages and tumor spheroid to study cross talk. now as preferred media for macrophage is RPMI and cancer cell is DMEM i am confused what to use. I want to mix them in 1:1 ratio. Is that a good idea? is there any disadvantages in mixing 2 media directly? Is there any guideline regarding mixing two separate culture media?

Both the media has 10% FBS and 1% Ab mixed already.
