Hybridization specificity of a TaqMan probe?

Could a TaqMan probe hybridize specifically to its template at its 3'end even though 5' end of the probe has some unspecific nucleotides? And would it have any effects on the qPCR reaction efficiency?

It could hybridize but the efficiency of the nuclease step would be reduced, thus reducing your signal.
