It's quite amazing that they form tube when cultured. However, I'm more looking for asymmetric divison than oriented cell division. I was hoping that one daughter cell is more like stem cell while the other is reduced in stemness.

You may use freshly isolated epithelial cell, or even fibroblasts. Under physiological conditions, they divide into a new stem cell and a transit/differentiating cell. The same applies to bone marrow cells (which are easier to get).
