I am trying to extract cancer cells from human gastric cancer tissue. I noticed that, after digesting the tissue, I have a lot of lipids present in my cell suspension. When I try to pellet down the cells (after I add serum to stop the digestion), the cells will still float and I cannot pellet them. I tried to remove the tissue fat before digestion but I cannot get rid of all and I still end up losing cells. Does anyone knows a treatment that I could use to remove the lipids without affecting the  collection and viability of the cancer cells ?

Thanks
