I am trying to dilute the TGF-B3 growth factor with the recommended diluent: sterile-filtered liquid containing 10mM acetic acid and 20% ethanol.
My questions:
1. How to prepare 10mM acetic acid?
2. How to get a final concentration of 20% ethanol, based on acetic acid or Milli-Q water?
3. Can I use the neurobasal medium to dilute it and make it into aliquots since the neurobasal medium holds the largest volume of the entire differentiating cocktail?
My questions might not make sense because I have no idea how to prepare one. Let me know if you have any idea about this. Thank you very much!

Thank you for your recommendation on the useful link, however, I somewhat do not agree with your calculation. Please read the below and kindly let me know if I am correct.I need a sterile-filtered 10mM acetic acid with 20% ethanol, therefore I will prepare them as follow:
1. Get 10mM acetic acid from 100% acetic acid glacial. Since acetic acid is in the liquid state, molar mass: 60.05g/mol, density: 1.049g/ml
1 mol = (60.05g divided by 1.049g/ml) = 57.24ml
1 M = 1 mol/1 liter
1 M = 57.24ml of 100% acetic acid to make up to 1 liter with distilled/Milli-Q water
10M = 572.4ml of 100% acetic acid to make up to 1 liter with distilled/MQ water
Hence to make 10mL of 10M acetic acid, 5.724ml 100% acetic acid to dilute to 10ml with 4.276ml of water.
20% ethanol is included in this 10ml solution = 2ml of 100% non-denatured/reagent grade ethanol to be added.
Therefore, 5.724ml of 100% acetic acid + 2.276ml water + 2ml 100% EtOH to make 10ml of 10M acetic acid with 20% EtOH.
