Hello every one.
I want to model trapezoidal and parabolic prestressing steel cable profile using link 180, inside 3D Solid65 element in ANSYS APDL. Also How can I arrest the DOF at the ends of the PS steel, for post tensioning concrete condition.
Also can I use beam188 element instead of link180, is it OK to use beam 188 as prestressing steel for giving pretension to it for research problem work.
Please suggest the following points, your kind answer are appreciable.

You can to create a spline arch using many key points ( at least three points)
and the initial strain should be inserted in the real constant of this element,

Dear sir can you please tell, which bond slip equation is used to represent the interface behaviour for bonded and unbonded post tensioned concrete members for COMBINE 39 element in ANSYS APDL?
