Hello Everyone, I am also facing the problem of TI decaying very fast in my simulation of turbulent flow . I am modeling the flow around 2D square cylinder and used k-e model. I made the model in ADINA and computed the values of k and e based on TI, length scale and mean flow velocity. I don't have the option of entering the turbulent viscosity. So any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

If the dimension of square is D then domain size is 18D in the wake region and 7D on the left of bluff body. The lateral boundaries are at a distance of 7.5D.

Regarding the model:-
1) the upper and lower boundaries are not walls as i am trying to simulate wind flow around a 2D section in atmospheric BL
2) The solver used in ADINA is a flow condition based solver so I reduced tolerance factors to 1e-5
