This reminds me when we are handling or discussing about the drinking water and how to ensure drinking water is free from harmful contaminants, parents can take the following three steps:

Even after the water is treated in the treatment facility, absence of pesticides in water is still a question to be addressed. Our house hold filters may not be able to remove pesticides from drinking water

Depend on where are you going to stay or leaving or on the move. If you travelling at remote area, upstream or stayed there, you have to google map easily any development or scaled commercial crops. If you plan to travel at city, just buy bottled water which had approved series numbers. For instance, in Malaysia, most sold bottled water were given approved series numbers by Ministry of Health. I believe all countries governing the safe drinking method as guided by WHO. Nowadays, some had been inspired not just using commercial water filtered, but collecting at natural sources by themselves after comparing benefit with systematic water supplied. Some natural resources spot are at most upstream of rivers, waterfalls and hill sides. However, public shall have mapping skills by using their smartphone if the spots surrounded by socio economy activities such as illegal or licensed industries, scaled commercial crops or residential with design less sewage system or any veterinary activities.
