A friend has a patient with a new mutation (leukemia). He want to keep this mutation to further study. So he collected monocyte from patient and want to make a immortal cell line. He do not know how to do? Some advice? express some genes（telomere） or knock out some genes（P53）?

Yes def. leukemia is based on lymphocyte ability to proliferate without undergoing body regulatory mechanisms. Thus the cells should be stored in liquid nitrogen or -80 and use as all other tumor cells.
