Hi，I want to perform an analysis using cohesive zone model in ANSYS，the model is shown in the following picture. I want insert interface elements between two materials (the purple material and the blue material, element type is plane 183). However, there is always a warning "No cohesive element have been created. Please make sure that your input satisfies the cohesive section definition requirements”. APDL commands about Interface elements are:

CM,etop,ELEM !etop is the group of the bottom elements of the purple material

When studying the material properties at the interface between two bodies, researchers generally try to use the detach option based on the separation distance of the cohesive zone (CZM) in the working environment. But, this usually does not work, and here's why.
Isotropic elasticity will be used for the base materials not the cohesive zone materials. So you cannot combine it with CZM.
If you are using the Separation Distance-based debonding option of CZM, that Young's modulus you applied in Isotropic elasticity for base material will influence the normal contact stiffness, and in turn affect the initial slope Kn of the CZM (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NxY_xR7roc).
