Dear all I want to know how to calculate the Impedance from dielectric constant .As I have only Dielectric constant ,dielectric loss and capacitance data .
The dielectric constant and loss are all the derived from AC impedance, current, and voltage, which can be tested by the AC impedance analyzer. You should obtain the impedance in the experimental test, not derive from the dielectric parameters.
Here is a possible approach. Generally, we treat dielectric materials as a parallel connection of resistance and capacitance in the equivalent circuit. So the impedance Z could be obtained from 1/Z=1/Z_C+1/Z_R, where Z_R=1/ωεC0, Z_C=-j/ωεC0. ω is the signal frequency.
