I am running a static analysis for 10 time steps (variable load) in Ansys workbench 19.2. I would like to export to excel the nodal stress everywhere in the structure (not just the maximum stress) for all the 10 steps. Right now I am able to export only the maximum stress at each time step. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

This problem is tractable if your model is one-dimensional (line elements) or 2D (plane elements). If this is the case, you can make use of Construction Geometry, through which you define a "path" or "surface" within ANSYS Mechanical (via Workbench). The option for construction geometry is under "Model" in the ANSYS Mechanical environment. Once you have a construction geometry, you can combine this with Probe (and then select the result you wish to obtain, stress, etc.). The evaluated results will be presented in a tabular form across the path, which you can then export to Excel.

You have to create the results instances for each time step separately. Then each of these can be exported as text file (csv format) which will include each node number and corresponding stress values. If your model is huge, the data extracted will be huge and can crash the excel itself.
