How to decide the type of a protein from different families given in Blastx?

I have faced this with more than one gene. in the step of gene annotation of my NGS data I found in many case my enzyme of interest but I found that this enzyme is found in multispecies, it means that it belongs to more than one family!. when I search for conserved domains in my sequence I do not find the activity that I look for. or I found it as 100% glycosyl hydrolase but when I searched for conserved domain I found other family.

how this can happen? any explanation please?
