I have a two-phase metal microstructure image, segmented by Simpleware ScanIP. An input file is output from ScanIP after being meshed. Two phases in the microstructure image are now divided into two different element groups. However, when I import the input file into Abaqus, I can only have Orphan mesh. That means I can't build geometry in Abaqus.
Is there any way that I can obtain Abaqus geometry from a microstructure image?

I don't know how to, or if possible to do that in Abaqus, but I do know that MSC Apex and Autodesk Fusion 360 have strong tools to generate geometry from an orphan mesh.
MSC Apex tries to generate the actual geometry, but Fusion 360 directly uses the mesh to generate BRep.

My suggestions are to create geometry from scratch by using the mesh, however, if your file already includes the geometry file but you are having trouble importing it, it is a completely different problem.

Hello Hadi Ghesmati Kucheki , thank you very much for your answer. The "create geometry from mesh" plug-in is exactly what I want to use. However, I have a Abaqus version of 2016 and 2017, which don't have this plug-in on the main menu anymore(see attached screen shot 1). I have downloaded a plug-in called "3DMesh_to_Geometry_Plugin613" (see attached screen shot 2). Will it also work if I install this plug-in? Do you know how to install it?
