I quantified the bands using studio image lite . I have treated group and untreated group. Say the treated is 10% of the untreated. How to calculate p value?
i think i would quantify the bands using the Image J Software and calculate the means of the control and the treated the get the p value
A t-test (Student) could be appropriate or if the normality assumption does not hold, a wilcoxon rank-sum test will do it.
How to calculate the mean? I only have one band from control cells and one band from treated.
Use a permutation test or a rank-sum test.
