I am watching qiime importing metadata tutorial. I downloaded the barcode and sequence file using url and tried to open in qiime but they do not work as follow:
(micro) a-PC:desktop hebahussein$ cd emp-single-end-sequences
(micro) a-PC:emp-single-end-sequences hebahussein$ qiime tools import \
> --type EMPSingleEndSequences \
> --input-path emp-single-end-sequences \
> --output-path emp-single-end-sequences.qza
-bash: qiime: command not found
(micro) a-PC:emp-single-end-sequences hebahussein$
Look at your error - "-bash: qiime: command not found "
Ofcourse it will not work. Try to install qiime before using it.

You are supposed to run these commands in QIIME environment.
There is different versions of QIIME2 installation are there, If you are new to bioinformatics, try to use Virtualbox version, since it have all the dependencies.
If you are using a Mac OS u can try MacQIIME.(but it is available only in the QIIME 1.9.1 version)
From your error its sure that QIIME is not installed or you are running the script in your cmd environment.
