I personally have two strategies, I give lectures aimed at Children and Young people and I make these lectures available (presentations) for other people to use in other places in world, translating into their own languages, trying to use more images than text.
Tell us what your strategies are, share with RG so that we can have more researchers and that Childrens and Youth people can see that it is a "nice" option to be a researcher and contribute to the development of humanity!

with regard to your lessons combined with the presentations that you have taken care of in the smallest details I would say that you have already reached the maximum possible involvement of children and young people who are your point of reference with this technique.
Perhaps you could also integrate videos and chemical / physical experiments but simple, captivating and fun - like your presentations - that can involve the audience you are addressing, with non-dangerous special effects.

Therefore, I fully share your strategy with the use of bright, colorful presentations, which are rich in excellent illustrative material and contain game characteristics, which is important for this age. I think that further improvement of this direction can be associated with practical exercises with the use of various materials, devices, equipment, etc. Direct personal participation in any processes, construction, and in any creative will be remembered by students for life!

If allowed, children can watch video all day. Well, better than that, if they had an experiment to do, they would do that instead.
Young people like to learn with hands-on materials, not theory.
As an example, when I do a science presentation at schools I have eye-catching samples to show: A "fire-rock" will give sparks when hit with a hammer in front of them, etc etc
Children learn science through trial and error. They need time to experiment, try things out, and think on their own. Wait before jumping in with "correct" answers. Give your child the time and space to explore and discover on her own.
Japan has a wonderful system of community founded science centers, where children can explore and experience scientifc concepts. With their family, in their spare time. Often for free. I was deeply impressed when I visited some of them years ago.
Here are some of the bigger ones, but also small, local science centers are impressive in terms of municipal commitment and didactic approach.

In my country there used to be centers of scientific and technical creativity for children. Each child could choose a free circle for classes. Observations, thinking, assumptions, research, experiments are very good practices for involving children

I think there are certain keys to reach success in disseminating science among young people, or children.
And most of them are shared with game elements and their own success. One of them is lay-language, to make it easier to understand. Second, to make them feeling the discovering: young people want to discover (touch, smell, see, switch on/off, ...), and participate. Showing them simple things from a different point of view as causes or consequences of daily events or things can approach them to science in a more interesting way. And third, and related to the previous, make it fun! Memorable and meaningful experiences allow them to live it as a very special situation that they won't forget. Intrinsic motivations are based on these triggers, balancing discovering, and skills-development, that could even conduct to state of flow. And even those experiences could lead them to awake vocations! who knows!
