Hello everyone... I need your views/ideas. I am having serious problem and got stuck and dont know how to encounter that issue. The master's thesis submission date is around the corner.
My question is about pitching airfoil
In pitching airfoil case the angle of attack changes with time. In Solve/Monitors, we can plot CL history but that is for some 'fixed' angle of attack (as there is no option there to upload a UDF file). So, I want save CL values history at changing angle of attack.
Can anybody tell me how to get CL history in this case?
Really appreciate your views.

hello , its possible you need fix or clean your computer, becouse ocasionally if you dont to eliminate webrowser registry your pc its slow or you need defragger you hdd..
Hello, you can use User-Define-Function (UDF) to write a dynamic mesh module to make a secondary development to fluent. Since the motion of the pitching airfoil is rigid, you can let the whole computational mesh domain to rotate about a center to change the AoA with time. Transient aerodynamic calculation is also needed.

I have already compiled the c-file for udf and my airfoil is oscillating.
In the same UDF I have defined "DEFINE_OUTPUT_PARAMETERS" for the udf so that i can get a graph of Cl vs aoa at differenrt aoa
Because by default Fluent gives Cl vs Flow time plot and kept aoa constant.
Hope now you have understood what i wanna do
I will share my udf if you have some idea or you can alter in it.

If your UDF is able to correctly get the values of AoA and corresponding Cl, than add another few lines of code to append those values in a file. Then use an external program, written in Matlab or Python, to plot the data. Along with the values of AoA and Cl you cold save some other data as well, like the time, for example.
