For protein western blots.
Are you looking for protein modification or just looking for the protein expression in the western blot???
for expression studies if it is ECL u r doing u can get fairly good amount of protein in detectable concentration.
if it is for looking protein modification, it depends on the Ab u r using,
Hi Santosh, Im looking forward for western blotting but would eventually would also like to fractionate the homogenates. thanks
I want to know, too. I am harvesting feline islets and I am able to get roughly 600ng of RNA from 50 islets. I have the protein but have not quantified it yet. Still sitting in the -80 :)
