From your question, I would like to ask you about your sample. What is the final moisture content or water activity of the dried product? For dried leaf that contains water activity around 0.6 or lower, I used to keep it in aluminum laminated pouches using vacuum seal and store under -80 degree C. It was found that I can keep the product over a year with less change in the quality.
From my experience, pulverised plant drug sample with almost zero moisture content and stored in an air-tight container can be kept for up to 2 years without a significant change in quality.
Thank you all for your answers. I just discovered that the one I stored for about a year now in air-tight bags is still very potent. The percentage extract yield however decreased.
