Is the endosomal transport of proteins during protein trafficking random at the location of plasma membrane or is it predefined for secretory protein transport during fungal infection at a defined location in plasma membrane (such as hypha, haustorium , etc.)?
depends on a signalling sequence, that is what guides wether the protein gets sereted or is targeted to a specific sub cellular compartment, i could not understand what refernce you were trying to make about fungal infection though
During fungal infection endosomes act as carrier for transporting some specific protein/effector to the plasma membrane which later go inside of a host cell through the specialized structures, such as hypha and haustorium etc. So, what kind of signal drives this endosomes to the particular pathogen-host junction, not the other region of plasma membrane?
