Dear Colleagues,
I am currently trying to validate some CV data. Therefore I would like to model the CV characteristics (capacitance at different bias levels) I am new to COMSOL but it is the only program currently available so I hope there is an easy way to obtain CV results.
I have already built my 1-D model of the junction but now I am struggling to compute the capacitance.
Can someone help me out by letting me know which study I can use to calculate the capacitance?

Thank you for your answer! Unfortunately I am struggling after adding the terminal.
1) I add physics - AC/DC - Electrostatics
2) I add the terminals
3) I add a study - Stationary
in the study I select 'Solve for: Electrostatics
then I compute;
In the plot output I cannot find the capacitance. Instead I can plot charge (es.Qo_1, 2)...
should I calculate the capacitance manually (C=Q/V?) Does this then give me the capacitance of the junction or the whole system (you mentioned global value)?

More specifically:
I build the model (MIS diode: metal-SiO2 (10 nm)-Si(100 nm)-ohmic metal); then in ES I add a terminal (with DC bias in voltage mode) and a ground back contact.
when I do an DC bias sweep (-5 V to 5 V) and plot the current density (es.Jx) I get a straight zero line. Seems I am missing something but I can't find the culprit...
