The particles are in aqueous colloidal state and the larger ones (70-100+) are a multi-component system comprised of a polymer and metallic nanoparticles. Magnetic separation is not an option either since it destroys the particles.

(Note ultracentrifugation is also not an option here since it destroyed the nanoparticles.Tried already.)
