I just need some help, as this has been causing me grief. I previously found a miRNA that reduces invasion and migration of breast cancer cells, but since then have shown that it also reduces proliferation.

Basically I have found similar findings to those reported in these papers: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23950210[1][1] http://www.spandidos-publications.com/ol/6/6/1636[2][2] http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24289600[3][3]

I am just confused as to how these papers publish these results and don't seem to address the effects of proliferation on their migration/invasion.

Of note, I perform the invasion on ECM coated transwell inserts, and migration on non-coated transwell inserts.
