I'm trying to analyze Ti alloy containg α″ martensite phase with orthorhombic structure, but there is no phase data file for indexing α″ phase in the database. So I created phase structure data file for α″ phase with lattice constant of a=3.11, b=5.19, c=4.83 based on my XRD results and then I attempted to index α″ phase in my EBSD data, but I faced misindexing problem resulting in very low CI values and noisy IPF map.
When I try indexing α″ phase by HCP α Ti, it looks like indexed well, but the twin boundary is not recognized adequately, so I can't do twin analysis on my data. Is there anyone have experience for analyzing martensite in Ti alloys?
