Dear Sang woo Jung Interestingly enough both replies given to your question are either wrong or not answering your question.

The answer to your question is no you cannot add a new journal title by yourself, see https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/articles/14293139566353-Journals here they state "Currently, we only import journal data from CrossRef. If your journal is added to CrossRef’s journal database and has a valid ISSN, it should eventually become part of our database. We appreciate your patience in the meantime."

The reply by Arsalan Rasheed refers to a new phenomenon (and a means for RG to generate some money) called "Journal Home", see https://www.researchgate.net/journal-home if you scroll down you end up with the frequently asked question section where you can find, among other issues, the info about the costs of this service.

Though the info is correct it does not mean that paying 2000 euro will get your journal title listed in the database of RG (these are two different things).

When a journal is missing in RG's database, I add the bibliographic data to the abstract field (like in https://www.researchgate.net/publication/268925009 or https://www.researchgate.net/publication/344474227).
