I created a 0.1M Li2S4 solution in a DOL:DME solvent mixture following these steps: first dissolving sulfur (S) in a DOL:DME (v/v) solution and then adding Li2S. The solution was stirred at 70°C for 48 hours.

After 48 hours, the solution has a deep brown color, but yellow precipitates are visible.

What are these precipitates, and could they pose an issue for the Li2S4 solution?
