I am trying to submit a gene sequence in Genbank from last 2 months, but they always say something like this..
Complete feature annotation has not been included for some or all of
the sequence(s) you have submitted.
A. Please resubmit your sequence(s) with relevant features such as:
- coding regions (CDS features), partial or complete, including
nucleotide spans and reading frame. Using this information,
our software will add the amino acid translations for you.
Kindly tell me what to do?

If the gene that you have is to be annotated, first please follow the basic criteria in identifying the coding regions, non-coding regions (Exonic and intronic), reading frames (5'/3' )etc.
Please ensure these are ready. Ensure that you do bioinformatical prediction in order to find these features. Once you have it, you could use BankIt option available in GenBank which is an easiest way to start with. You need NOT provide the translation but the coding region spanning the sequence should be provided which would serves as an input for translation.

I was experienced with the same issue recently.
I tried with uploading source modifier table and feature table without using the input method.Sample will be provide for table preparation when you select the option "By adding feature table" . It was so easy to handle and worked well.
